Bangladesh garment and garment workers still have no proposal to raise their minimum monthly salary, despite their protests last month. Recently, trade union leaders in the clothing and clothing department warned the government that they will strike nationwide in the end of 7 in industrial centres related to garment and garment industries.

Bangladesh's clothing workers seek minimum minimum wage of 5000 Taka. They will launch a massive protest to enable them to implement the 11 requirements, otherwise they will stop the work of the clothing department, and the clothing department brings the highest foreign exchange revenue to the country, accounting for 80% of the total exports of the country.

Last month, thousands of garment and garment workers staged protests in various parts of Dhaka, demanding higher wages. At that time, 100 factories ceased production, and dozens of clothing units were looted, resulting in losses of millions of Taka cards.

After 5 days of upheaval, the Ministry of labour announced that the minimum wage will increase before Ramadan, and a committee has been set up in this regard. In raising the minimum monthly wage, the current cost of living of workers will be taken into account.
