Recently, the Guangdong fashion and Apparel Industry Economic Research Institute, jointly sponsored by the Guangdong clothing and apparel industry association, the Guangdong Clothing Designers Association and the blue international investment consultant Co., Ltd. was founded in Guangzhou Baiyun world clothing exhibition and Trade Center.
Shu Haibo, director of Guangdong urban collective enterprise association, senior director of fashion design review committee, Wang Shiguo, deputy director of Guangdong provincial civil society organization Bureau, Liu Yueping, President of the provincial clothing and apparel industry association, Li Kailuo, President of the Provincial Institute of fashion dress industry economics, Ding Ning, executive vice chairman of provincial Costume Designer Association, and Hu Guangqian, chairman of Guangzhou Yi Feng Real Estate Co., Ltd., attended the opening ceremony of the Research Institute.

According to the introduction, the Guangdong Institute of fashion economics is the first Economic Research Institute dedicated to the economic research and brand operation of the garment industry. It is composed of experts and experts from the apparel industry organizations, educational institutions, relevant enterprises, research institutes, publishing houses and other related units at home and abroad.
The Institute will conduct an independent, objective, open and relaxed attitude towards regional industrial planning, economic management, business resource development, investment and financing planning, business models, brand strategy, technological innovation, decision-making consultation and so on.
Its purpose is to conduct extensive and in-depth industrial core technology research and consulting services on the basis of the clothing industry economic research based on the study of the trend and rule of China's macro-economic and regional economic development in the new world economic environment and the business predicament and challenges faced by Guangdong's traditional clothing industry, so as to promote the fundamental competitiveness of Guangdong's fashion apparel industry.
