Wang Jianlin:

The road to success is ten million, and the result of success is the same. The process of success is absolutely different from that of success. Therefore, no matter which entrepreneur is invited to lecture, his experience, his process can only be referred to, and he can not learn the same method, otherwise he will not be able to work. Therefore, we must not be superstitious to create wealth and recruit talents. Success depends on studying and thinking.

What is the spirit of entrepreneurship? The most noble people do not live for themselves and do not die for themselves. I think this is the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Let me talk about four points:

First, dare to innovate.

Wanda can develop to this day. I think the core reason is that we dare to innovate. It can be said that Wanda's 22 year development history is actually a founding history. It is to dare people first, dare to think others dare not think of things, dare to do what others dare not do.

Today, a student reporter interviewed me. Your advice to entrepreneurs is that I dare to start my own business. You dare not start your own business. Now the atmosphere of entrepreneurship is getting worse and worse. This is the biggest problem. I heard a number the day before yesterday. Tsinghua University and Peking University Student 60% students chose to be civil servants. If these students choose more entrepreneurship, China will have hope. If China does not produce a master in the scientific community and entrepreneurs do not produce world-class entrepreneurs, China is not big. China can not stand in the world in the national forest.

The key to Wanda is to take four steps: to spanform the old, to cross the region, to create a pattern, and to create culture.

1, when my company was founded 88 years ago, it was strictly controlled by the real estate industry at that time. In order to survive, I looked for the deputy mayor who was in charge of the construction at that time. No matter where the living part was awarded to us, we could have a good meal. Well, then you can do it. There is a shanty town at the north gate of the municipal government. You can change it.

We will study how to make the house price more than 50%. Made four small innovations. 1) made a Ming hall. At that time the house was no hall, we designed a bright hall, after entering the door, there was a window, a living room; 2) there was a bathroom; now the bathroom was called? It was not allowed at the time of 88 years. We have been engaged in the bathroom discipline Commission committee also provide a list of buyers; 3) made aluminum alloy windows; its largest feature is large, spacious; 4) on a security door; in 80s, there is no security door, is a small wooden door, in that time just a enterprise called hope, the production of anti theft door in Liaoning. We are looking for a TV station to sponsor a TV series. Give us an advertisement before, after and after the show. This is done. At that time, little innovation was made. More than 1000 houses sold out in a month.

2, span regional. At that time, I could not develop in Dalian with the company. We went to Guangzhou in 92 years and set up a company. Although the first development in Guangzhou did not make much money, it was more important to exercise our courage. We have been expanding throughout the country in 98 years.

After this incident, Wanda became the first foreign developer in China and became the first Chinese enterprise to go out of the region and develop real estate in other cities. So far, Wanda has also become the largest city development enterprise, and the scale is also very large. I don't think Wanda can do ten billion this year if there is no cross regional step, but it is also a hero at home.

3, create a pattern. Today, all the diversity of Wanda is called pluralism, and it is not a big leap without a purpose. We decided to do the rentals. Then we are going to make big property and collect the rent from the top 500 companies in the world. After that decision, the first shopping plaza was built in 2000, which is the first generation of products. Later, in the 04 year, I got the knack. I set up my own Planning Institute. In the early stage, I had a good commercial design. After I design it, I first went to the merchant to negotiate. Now it is called "order commercial real estate", which evaded waste and ineffectiveness, including the unequal negotiation. This model has been created until today. Until 2005, we put forward a new concept, the urban complex, which has a commercial center, five star hotels, office buildings, apartments, and even houses, and other things. This is a complex, which is the first creation of Wanda in the world.

4, do culture. I am an early collector, a hobby. Now I am very successful. Dalian is building an art gallery, and Beijing is also preparing to make an art gallery at CBD. And we have made a lot of contributions to the collection, because many of our collections are unique, and represent several countries in cultural exchange activities, and have held several exhibitions in China. Leaders from all sides of the Central Committee have attended many times. In 2005, we decided to make a movie line. We did a bigger move this year, and set up an entertainment company.

In the past more than 20 years, Wanda has gone down four steps, but every step in these four steps has been a great step forward. Next, Wanda will take fifth steps. What is it? Two, honesty is the foundation.

(Wanda) mainly did four things: (first thing) to do things honestly. Wanda's corporate culture has changed three times in recent years. The first idea is to be honest and smart, and the second is to create wealth and share the society together. By 2003, it has introduced eight new words, international Wanda and Centennial enterprises. To be honest, to tell the truth is to pay the cost of time and cost. But once a brand is established, it can be exchanged for endless value, especially in business.

2, pay close attention to quality. China's real estate has always been a problem today. In 1992, the quality of the whole country went all over the country, and the counterfeit and shoddy products were exposed everywhere. When I arrived in Dalian, I was scared enough to find the problem. I did not dare to go and sent a deputy general. Come back to say, everyone recommended that Dalian has a good plot, is the only quality project in China. At that time, Wanli went to the spot to check and investigate how we did it. As a result, a medal was given to us in 1992, and the 10000 miles in front of us gave us a medal for breaking the rules. So we won the first quality medal in the country. So this thing also gives me a reminder, since Wanda takes quality as its top priority. We hold a quality engineering meeting every two years, which is good enough to give a certificate of merit.

3, take the lead in undertaking. In 1995, we put forward a slogan, called Wanda Group, to eliminate unqualified projects. All of them carried out the project of full scale excellence, or created excellent projects in the whole country. Then, in 1996, the service industry took the lead in learning advanced experience. We first made three commitments in real estate: 1) guaranteed no loopholes; 2) guaranteed that the house I sold was not short; 3) a free refund; we sold it to you, and within 60 days it felt unfit to give you back, without any restrictions.

After the three commitments were put forward in the whole country, there were applause and loud criticism throughout the country. Most of the cheers are ordinary people, most of whom are critics. Until June 29, 2000, the Ministry of construction held a promotion meeting to promote Wanda Group's sales and rest rooms. This has become the only time that the Ministry of construction has held a national conference to commend a real estate enterprise. This promotion and our commitment made us build up in the market.

4, be brave and responsible. Honesty is not only dare to be strict with ourselves, but also dare to be responsible. We have lessons too. In 2003, we invested and built a Wanda Plaza in Shenyang. At that time, we did not know much about the way of commercial real estate. We made more than 300 shops and sold 6.1 billion. After selling, business is bad. The rate of return to business is very low. There is a lot of complaints. We learned that ten or twenty households were bought by usury. This matter has greatly stimulated our managers. We held a number of demonstration meetings before and after, and I clam back and dismantle everything. Easy to buy, it is difficult to retreat, and we must pay higher compensation when we retire. At that time, we gave 1.5 times the condition, you bought more than three years, 15% per year is enough, 1.5 times. It was rebuilt in 08 and reopened in 09. Now it is a very beautiful shopping center.

I think this is a milestone in the history of Wanda Group. When Haier could knock out more than 40 refrigerators, they could not compare with Wanda Group. We paid hundreds of millions of dollars. Good faith management is our very important spirit. {page_break}

Three, persevere.

First, we must not be afraid of failure. Business is a bit like scientific research. Failure is usually more successful than success. If they all succeed, there will be no entrepreneurs or even big entrepreneurs. If you want to succeed in business, the most important problem is your attitude towards failure. Fear of failure and fear of loss will never succeed. So when our commercial real estate was built up, from 2002 to 2004, because of the misunderstanding of business, we experienced many failures before and after. If we want to succeed, we should not be afraid of failure.

Second, we must always be enterprising. Wanda did earn a lot of money, and personally I should have enough. So ten years ago, my family and my best friends persuaded me, enough, don't do it. So the biggest problem I have now is that people ask me why you haven't earned enough yet. In fact, everyone is wrong. I didn't earn enough. I have other pursuits.

(I want) to be the largest charity fund in the world. How big is it? The target is one hundred billion. Where is the greatest value of life? Where is it reflected? If you have the ability to help more people, you can help ten thousand people, one hundred thousand people, one million people, and more than one of these people in China. I think this life value is very good. So I set a goal for myself. I have such a dream.

Four, fulfill responsibilities

1, about responsibility. Wanda Group can enter the top 30 among all enterprises in China. I think it is the greatest responsibility of entrepreneurs to develop the business well, use more people and get more taxes.

2. About employees. Wanda realized paid vacation ten years ago, and our group executives were close to two hundred people. I gave them shares free of charge. We also introduced a fair wage system to encourage grassroots employees to be more stable and better for business development. This year, a new system has been launched to select two hundred outstanding employees every year, and to travel in five-star hotels across the country to reimburse round-trip tickets.

3, about charity. In 1990, we had our first donation. At that time we had to pay 33% of the income tax. It can be said that I am most qualified to talk about charity, and the amount of money is the most. We already have 1 billion 700 million yuan. I have 1 billion personal appointments, which will be reported next month. And we donate every year to the system. We have formed a charitable culture. In the Wenchuan earthquake, our employees donated 6800 yuan on average, ranking first in the country. Wanda Group won the four prize in the five China Charity Award. It is the about nine million enterprise in the country, regardless of ownership, the only one to get four.

My entrepreneurial process is these four aspects, these four points for me personally, is the four small experience of enterprise success. Of course, as I said just now, because of such a short time relationship, there are many reasons why we should sum up our success.

What do I feel about entrepreneurship? I think entrepreneurship is in many ways. At the core are three words: creativity, persistence and responsibility.
