And enjoy zero tariff policy when exporting to the European Union.

Previously, the EU stipulates that textiles that enjoy zero tariffs for the least developed countries must use their raw materials.

The new trade policy will be implemented from January 1, 2011.

This new regulation is good news for Pakistan's cloth production and export enterprises.

Pakistan is a big exporter of cloth, and the new EU trade rules will make it possible for Bangladesh and some of the least developed countries in Africa to import more cloth from Pakistan when making ready made garments.

The textile industry in Pakistan has welcomed this new rule.

However, the president of the all garment production and Export Association reminded cloth producers not to neglect supplying raw materials to their textile enterprises while increasing their export volume.
