It dropped to 26569 tons, the first decline in 11 months.

The total growth in 1-10 months increased by 25.2% over the same period last year, reaching 261486 tons.


In October, the output of thermal bonding and needle prick nonwoven fabrics increased for 10 consecutive months, while the output of wet nonwovens decreased for the first time in 12 months.

The output of spunbonded and melt blown non-woven fabrics also declined for the first time in 10 months.


In October, the output of non-woven fabrics in Japan was as follows: chemical bonding, 1597 tons, down 15% year-on-year; thermal adhesion, 3210 tons, up 4.7%; needle type, 6534 tons, up 0.2% over the same period; high water jet woven fabric, 2827 tons, year-on-year decline of 10.8%; spunbonded and melt blown, 7458 tons, year-on-year decline of 1%; other types, 2124 tons, year-on-year decline in 2124; wet non-woven fabrics, tons, down year-on-year decline.
