"11Th Five-Year" Tianjin Garment Industry: The Revenue Is Increasing &Nbsp, And The Strength Is Gradually Enhanced.

The clothing industry is not Tianjin's.

In 2008, the garment industry in Tianjin had an operating income of 23 billion 959 million yuan, and in 2009 it had reached 31 billion 147 million yuan.

With the global economic integration, the development space of garment industry has been further widened. The clothing industry in Tianjin still plays a decisive role in the development of various social undertakings.

For example, in Tianjin Wuqing economic and Technological Development Zone, Tianjin (Tianjin) Garments Co., Ltd. produces JACK&JONES, ONLY, VEROMODA and other brand garments. Only the company's business income reached 10 billion 867 million yuan in 2009, paying 1 billion 402 million yuan in taxes.

In the first half of 2009, only half yearly sales of JACK&JONES products in Taobao networks reached a record 370 million yuan, up 330% from 2008.

The dominant position of clothing in department stores is more and more obvious, accounting for about 22.8% of total retail sales.

Since 2000, the proportion of retail sales of clothing sales in Tianjin has basically remained at around 23%, and the annual growth rate of clothing retail sales has always been above 10%.

In 2009, the wholesale and retail sales of clothing commodities in Tianjin's retail circulation industry amounted to nearly 30 billion yuan, of which the sales of clothing in major department stores were nearly 25 billion yuan.

By 2009, there were nearly 2000 garment production and business enterprises in Tianjin, and nearly 1000 garment brand agencies.

Among them, the brand has a high reputation and strong strength, and has sales in both the local and the outside areas. It has a relatively sound sales network and system which accounts for about 15% of the clothing industry in Tianjin, such as Ying Da, Miguel and so on. It has a certain strength and sells well in the field, but its brand popularity is about 20%. Besides, the enterprises with processing type or mainly wholesale are relatively concentrated, such as Baodi District, Wuqing district and Jinnan District, which account for 60%.

As of 2010, the basic situation had not changed much.

At present, the total number of garment workers in Tianjin is 142809, but the clothing industry is a highly related industry. Tianjin currently has 900 thousand people engaged in garment industry directly or indirectly in the aspects of fabric purchasing, clothing design, production and processing, market development, store design, wholesale and retail, logistics and pportation, import and export trade, and brand agency. Especially in the retail industry, 85% of the apparel industry employees are engaged in clothing sales and management.
