Asia has always been a global garment production center, and Europe has always retained the position of fashion and design center. Over the past 25 years, Asian countries have formed highly competitive and large scale production bases covering many fields. 6 Asian countries (China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India) are currently exporting garments to Europe, the Americas and Japan.
The first Asian clothing and Accessories Fair will be held in from February 21 to 23, 2012. It will bring 150 carefully selected and experienced Asian garment manufacturers for European fashion buyers. The exhibitors are mainly from some of the largest clothing producing countries and regions in the world: Mainland China, India, Indonesia and Hongkong, China. The Asia apparel and accessories fair, held in Berlin, in the European Centre, will provide an opportunity for European brands, suppliers, trading companies, wholesalers, retailers, chain stores, department stores, fashion designers, private labels and purchasing agents.
The exhibition will show a series of men's wear and women's wear.
The location of the exhibition in Berlin, Germany, is due to the restoration of its position as one of Europe's leading trade, fashion and business conference centers and is located in the central European region of Eastern Europe and Western Europe. The city has more than 580 hotels, which offer 45000 rooms for business travelers and traders. Berlin has also become an ideal place to host this new industry exhibition.
