Strengthening the inspection of imported food additives
At present, there are 97 food enterprises registered in Dongguan, of which 15 are private enterprises.
Chen Bin said, so far, these 97 food enterprises export quality and safety.
In recent years, the demand for imported food in Dongguan has been increasing. The number of imported food at Dongguan port has increased from 19.9% batches in the 667 batch and 11 million 800 thousand US dollars in 2010 to 793 batches and 24 million 410 thousand dollars in 2011.
Red wine, sweets, biscuits and drinks are several kinds of ready to eat food imported from Dongguan port.
Chen Bin said that the inspectors strictly carry out the inspection according to the regulations, especially strengthen the inspection of food additives such as pigments, preservatives and sweeteners, and return or destroy the unqualified red wine.
In addition, Chen Bin said that Dongguan will ensure the safety of live animal farms in Hong Kong and Macao, and ensure the safety of animal derived food for Hong Kong and Macau.

Chen Bin revealed that Dongguan inspection and Quarantine Bureau will implement six measures to speed up the development of Dongguan International Convention and exhibition industry.
One is to open "green channel for inspection" and "green channel for inspection" for exhibits.
