"GUCCI" Sued "San Da" To Win A Lawsuit

Because of the infringement of the exclusive right to trademark, Italy's famous brand "GUCCI" sued China's footwear brand "Shanghai" in China.

On the 14 day, the people's Court of Pudong New Area, Shanghai, made a first instance judgment on the case, and identified the infringement of the company. It should compensate the plaintiff, Gu Qiao Gu Xi, for the economic loss of 180 thousand yuan.

Plaintiff Gu Qiao Gu Xi company said that the company's "GG" trademark began to use in 1961, and was registered in China in 1999 and 2002.

In August 2006, Gu Qiao Gu Xi company in Pudong, Shanghai, the first eight hundred shopping malls found that the sale of "Sanda company" counters with "GG" logo of women's sandals, the shoes actually produced by the company, and then the two companies to court.
