The prime minister said that at present, China should withstand the downward pressure of the economy and must use "dual engines" to help "double high".

Li Keqiang said, "now we can see that supporting China's equipment to go out, promoting international cooperation in production capacity, and configuring capacity elements and developing capacity markets on a global scale can boost the burden on China's rapid economic development."

He quoted statistics that in recent years,

Manufacturing exports are much faster than other consumer goods.

In 2014, the growth rate of railway exports exceeded 20%.

In the long run, China's equipment export and international production capacity cooperation will have broader development space.

This will force us to constantly improve the level of technology, quality and service, and improve the overall quality and core of the enterprise.

Li Keqiang is widely known as "super salesman" of Chinese equipment at home and abroad.

He said at the symposium that after years of development, the level of China's equipment manufacturing industry and the international market share have been rising. To a certain extent, it represents the improvement of China's economic core competitiveness and anti risk ability.

But he also pointed out that some manufacturing industries still exist "big but not good" and "big but not strong" problems. They are still in the middle and low end of the global industrial chain, and need to develop more advanced manufacturing industries.

"To develop more advanced manufacturing industry, we must not compete only in China," the prime minister said. "By supporting Chinese equipment to go out and enabling Chinese enterprises to compete with advanced and powerful multinational companies in the international market, this will force us to continuously improve the level of technology, quality and service, and improve the overall quality and core competitiveness of enterprises."

He therefore said that supporting China's equipment to go out and promoting international production capacity cooperation will not only help to withstand the pressure of the current economic downturn, but also push the Chinese economy forward from the middle to the low end.

"China's economy is growing in opening up, and the use of foreign capital and foreign trade is the two pillar."

He said, "but now, with the profound adjustment of the international economic and trade pattern and the changes in the conditions of our resources, we must continue to strengthen the pformation of the two old pillars and create a new pillar.

We should shift from "consumer goods exports" to "investment products exports".

He stressed that based on efforts to promote the pformation of foreign trade and the effective use of foreign capital, we can effectively enhance our comparative advantage and achieve a higher level of internationalization through the cooperation of "Trinity" of foreign investment, production capacity cooperation and commodity exports.
