In February 17th, the the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Finance Department announced the second batch.

The subsidy scheme will provide full subsidy to cotton growers before March 20, 2016.

The target price subsidy in Xinjiang amounted to 13 billion 964 million yuan in 2015. The subsidy standard was: the quantity of cotton sold in the upland cotton was subsidized 1.99 yuan / kg, and the special cotton sale volume was subsidized 2.58 yuan / kg.

In southern Xinjiang, the basic farmers' area is subsidized by 141.75 yuan per mu in four prefectures.

In 2015, the average cost of cotton per mu in the autonomous region was 2119.55 yuan, of which the production cost was 1747.84 yuan, an increase of 27.94 yuan compared with that of the previous year, an increase of 1.62%.
