China's economic development is facing "new normal", and China's textile and garment industry is no exception.

Last year, China's textile and garment industry was affected by the domestic and international situation, and there were various pressures such as the weakening of market demand, the increase of comprehensive cost, and the large difference between inside and outside cotton. However, the overall smooth operation of the textile and garment industry continued to steadily promote pformation and upgrading.

Exports to the United States maintained a steady and steady growth, while the export growth to the US in the four quarter narrowed significantly.

According to the analysis, the main reason for the rapid decline in China's textile and clothing exports to the US is that the low cost countries such as Southeast Asia exported to the US rapidly.

Meanwhile, China's textile and garment exports to the EU fell 9.43% in 2015.

In the main export cities to the EU, only Guangdong maintained a small increase.

In terms of export countries, Britain, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Holland are China's main export markets to the EU, accounting for 2/3 of the EU market.

Among them, exports to the UK increased by nearly 8%, while the remaining 5 countries fell respectively.

Over the same period, in the other 22 European Union countries, China's textile and apparel industry has played an important role in Finland.

Estonia

Exports increased rapidly, while exports to Greece, Slovenia and Austria increased slightly.

With the shift of the global economic center, it is bound to bring about the formation of new consumption groups and new consumption markets, and at the same time, it will bring about a series of changes in the layout of productive forces. Textile and garment enterprises should focus on shaping the core competitiveness of the medium and long term, and match some international brand enterprises in the domestic market to find gaps.
