On August 5, the 2023 Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal "shuttle seeking trip" Jinan Grand Canal silk textile industry "intangible cultural heritage to help common prosperity" theme search series activities entered Gaoyang County, "China's textile town", Hebei Province.

According to Zheng Finland, the initiator of the activity and the ambassador for the promotion of intangible cultural heritage of China's textile industry in 2020, this 10 day search activity started from Gongshu District of Hangzhou on July 31, and carried out a shuttle and silk handicraft search along the relevant cities along the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal (Hangzhou, Tongxiang, Suzhou, Qufu, Liaocheng, Cangzhou, Gaoyang, Tianjin, Beijing Tongzhou), The closing ceremony and summary exchange meeting will be held in Tongzhou, Beijing.

Zheng Finland said that the "shuttle journey" team of 15 people, including experts and scholars, and students majoring in design in colleges and universities, actively promoted the exchange and cooperation between the Grand Canal Cultural Heritage Ecological Protection Zone and the cities along the Dayun River, and explored the creation of "silk" intangible cultural heritage industry development clusters through the documentary film "shuttle" video recording, story sharing, exchange activities and achievements display, We will work together to promote the innovation and transformation of intangible cultural heritage along the Grand Canal, to benefit people and help achieve common prosperity.

The textile industry of Gaoyang County has a history of more than 400 years. At present, the county has more than 4000 textile enterprises, more than 20000 sets of various textile machinery, 120000 employees, an annual output value of 53 billion yuan, an annual output of 5 billion towels and 45000 tons of blankets.
