From May 12 to 16, the research team of "Jinlun · National High Quality Development Research Tour of Cotton Textile Industry" entered the three northeastern provinces. Jing Shenquan, Vice President of China Cotton Textile Industry Association, Sun Wu, Deputy General Manager of Jinlun Knitting (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., and Tong Zhuorui, Assistant General Manager visited Shenyang, Siping, Baicheng, Changchun, Jiamusi and other places to understand the current production and operation of the enterprise and exchange high-quality development views of the industry.

　　 Basic situation of cotton spinning in Northeast China

Northeast China, as an important textile industry base in China, has experienced and witnessed the glory of China's textile industry in a long time. After the reform and opening up, attracted by the opening policy of coastal areas, a large number of funds and talents went south, coupled with aging equipment, high costs, insufficient product competitiveness and other problems, the cotton textile industry in Northeast China gradually declined. At present, the cotton spinning capacity of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces is between 100000 and 200000 spindles, and the single enterprise is almost below 50000 spindles. The total capacity of the three provinces does not exceed 500000 spindles.

Although the garment and sock industry in Northeast China has developed well, the yarn and fabric used by local downstream enterprises are still mainly from other places due to the diversity of prices and categories. The products of the local spinning enterprises are mainly sold to the eastern coastal areas, and the products are mainly chemical fiber blended yarns. The cotton spinning enterprises in the northeast almost no longer use cotton raw materials.

The raw materials and market of the enterprise are in the eastern coastal area, and the transportation cost is relatively high; In addition, the heating expenditure of enterprises in Northeast China in winter is also a large cost. The local electricity charge is about 0.75 yuan/kilowatt hour. Most enterprises have relatively old equipment. The number of workers for 10000 ingots is about 50, and the wages of workers are 4000-5000 yuan/month. The wages are generally in the upper middle level in the enterprise location, but it is also very difficult to recruit workers, and the employees are aging seriously.

Faced with many challenges, cotton textile enterprises in Northeast China are also actively exploring new development paths. On the one hand, Shenyang New Area Hongqu Cotton Textile Co., Ltd. is actively going out to build factories in Sichuan, relying on local energy and labor cost advantages, gradually expanding production capacity, relying on scale advantages, and has now developed into a well-known domestic sewing thread enterprise; Adhere to the production capacity in Shenyang, actively research and develop new chemical fiber blend varieties, extend the industrial chain to develop the printing and dyeing sector, and strive to do a good job in supporting products for downstream enterprises in northeast China for common development.

Siping Xingda Textile Co., Ltd. complies with the development trend of the industry and carries out technical transformation and upgrading of equipment every year. The equipment upgrading has significantly improved the production efficiency and product quality, and the enterprise's product sales are good; Changchun Dongfang Textile Group Co., Ltd. adjusted its product structure. At present, its main products are chemical fiber colored yarn, which are mainly sold to Zhejiang and Liaoyang regions; Jilin Siji Shengbao Textile Co., Ltd. and Jiamusi Yijia Textile Co., Ltd. adopt the business model of integration of industry and trade. The production base is in the northeast, and the enterprise sales and trade sector is in Zhejiang. This model focuses on resource integration, improves the efficiency and added value of the entire industrial chain, and enhances the market competitiveness of enterprises.
